Most bands make songs that sound like their other songs.

It's called THEIR SOUND. That's always been a weak argument to me, "all their songs sound the same". Acts that constantly try to reinvent themselves actually annoy me.

So yeah, Rhianna makes me angry. Just thought I'd add that.

See, I'm never sure how to react to this. Are you missing the point, or intentionally misrepresenting the argument? Do you not understand the difference between having a band with a signature sound and a band whose songs sound the same, or are you just splitting hairs for the sake of a gripe? How is it that other bands can have a trademark sound and style without practically copying their prior songs down to structure and effects verbatim, but Godsmack cannot?
