Michael Bay does not "make entertainment". He produces well. His movies always have good visuals -- when he's producing. He has no idea what makes a decent script or how to direct anything.

And besides, "The Wrestler" -- which I haven't seen -- IS entertainment. Any movie that's good is entertaining. That is to say, it doesn't have to be mindless drivel to be entertaining: it has to make you happy that you watched. And a sloppy sequel to a sloppy movie doesn't strike me as entertainment. If that's what you call enticing, then that's great. But bad is still bad.

It's a lot easier to get excited when you are going solely for the giant robots, and not for great plot development.
