basically the break down between Avon and Stringer. From when Stringer finally reveals he was behind D'Angelos 'suicide' to Avon, so fucking intense, to his decision to give Avon up to Colvin, their scene reminiscing overlooking the Harbour, Stringers death, Avon's human side showing through again with his sorrow over it and his realisation of the absurdity of their whole situation, and finally with McNulty revealing the source of the information leading to his arrest and his hardened attitude returning when being taken down
