The Undertaker and Kane's success have been because of the characters they play more than anything else. Remember when Goldust went to WCW? Undertaker and Kane going to TNA wouldn't be all much different from that.

Few things:

1) Wasn't Goldust's character quite dissimilar to what he played in the WWE? I did not watch WCW.

2) Undertaker and Kane could EASILY get gimmicks that are similar in TNA....even if it's with different names, and different finishing moves. Look at the Dudley's for instance (Deadly's).

3) Undertaker and Kane have both shown an ability to re-invent themselves in the WWE...and have demonstrated an ability to succeed if pushed correctly...despite the variances in their respective gimmicks. I expect that they would be no different in other promotions.

Why should you expect otherwise?
