Saw them at a Gala event last year. They played their own instruments. Awesome.

Mix Master Mike came out and did a 45 minute set of just scratching.. Then The Beasties came out and did all of their "hip hop" shit.. This was when they were taping that fan made tour video so they showed a 5 minute long video explaining it with fan footage and whatnot.. Then the whole stage (which was built on a turntable) spun around and they were all wearing powder blue tux's with ruffles and shit and started rocking out to Sabotage.. They proceeded to play all their "rock" shit like all the stuff from "In Sounds From Far Out" etc..

It was immense..
