The old stadiums were old, cold, filthy places with a piss smell because the toilets weren't great as well. The potential was always there for danger whether like this or something else. From going to Sunderland's old ground, Roker Park, I remember some of the fun when goals were scored and you ended nowhere near where you had started. There's obviously a bit of a fine line between jubilation and despair at times.

I think because of Hillsborough, terraces are best left in the past and at present to other countries. It would just take another tragedy for the question 'Why terraces' to be brought up. Fans are treated like human beings now and we are a lot better off for it.

Basically the point I was trying to make but you made it much clearer. Yes people can always argue that it can be done safely and all that, but in my eyes when you've got thousands of people standing around on a hill of concrete steps, the risk is always there. Even if it's not deaths, injuries can occur which wouldn't happen with seating.
