Not that this is huge news to most people, but Falcons 1st round pick DT Peria Jerry is out for the season with a knee injury. He had been playing well too. Falcons are already looking hard for a replacement, though it will probably be hard to find one.

Also, if it's late in the game (say 4th quarter) and y'all gave up 120 yards rushing but no TD's b/c you were up by 21, I'd say that is very good game planning and help y'all win the game..

It's the single wing offense, it's been around for years - Houston Nutt didn't create it.

He just had the idea to take it retro and put a RB at the QB spot. Way back in the day every team did this all the time before the downfield passing game was really put into motion.

I think it's so stupid that it's called the Wild Cat, but whatever. It's definitely around to stay though.

Dolphins still should have won that game even with that horrible 2 minute drill, Ginn dropped that TD pass. I mean it was tough catch but you make millions of dollars to run fast and catch a football.

My favorite part was with 4 minutes to go and like 3rd and 7, the Dolphins run the ball for a 2 yard gain and settle for the field goal, INSTEAD of trying for the first down with a pass or even a wildcat and even if they failed the pass, it was still pretty much the same distance on the FG. They basically just handed Peyton Manning the ball with 3:51 seconds to go, only needing a FG to tie or a TD.

That was just horrible coaching.
