Vancouver-Matthew Good

8.5/10...but steadily growing on me.

So underrated and rather unknown everywhere but Canada, yet he shouldnt be. It's gonna be tough to out-do "Avalanche".

Is this the same Matthew Good from Matthew Good Band? I live in St. Louis and am a huge fan of the Beautiful Midnight album. I'd like to hear some of his other stuff...

Yes it is. Since the band broke up after the "Audio of being" album, he's gone on to record three other albums. "Avalanche", "Hospital Music" and now very recently "Vancouver".
His stuff is all over itunes and everything, but you should definitely check everything else out.

I will for sure do that. That album is, in my opinion, what rock should be.

Last album I listened to was The Pains of Being Pure of Heart- ST. This sounds like a combination of The Smiths meet some 1990's dreampop, a lot less mopey than Morrissey lyrics though.

Best song would be "The Tenure Itch."
