Back in the year 2003 a fellow I have never heard of agreed with you. Never thought of it as a seasonal film but it is badass regardless.

Die Hard 2 also takes place at Christmas, but it feels more like it's just doing it because it's the sequel. It doesn't really embrace the theme as well as Die Hard does.

Lethal Weapon also takes place at Christmas.
