Yeah, playing with your friends is cool and all... but all it takes is one asshole friend to make you suddenly care about balance.

Oh, what's that? Cable's broke as hell? TIME TO PLAY ME SOME CABLE AMIRITE BOYS

And sometimes this friend happens to be alot of your friends.

After Tatsunoko vs Capcom was surprisingly balanced (the American version, anyhow) though, I've got pretty decent hopes for this. I don't think Capcom's going to go as sloppy as they used to.
