Technically everything has been done with somebody already. The WWE bases their story lines on certain superstars and than a few years later changes it up with superstar and some similar blueprint behind it.

Sometimes, angles that are deemed by some to be "predictable", are actually what fans WANT to see, and therefore, those same fans will support the product, tune in, etc...so sometimes going with what's "predictable" actually is better.
