Holy shit. I know there are always blowouts in the first week, but Oregon is leading New Mexico 58-0 at the half. God damn.

I never really like the 1st week of college football due to almost all of the big name schools and conferences usually having a cupcake team to start the season just to pad up stats. I understand the reasoning since nobody wants to kill their season with the 1st week (ex. Michigan vs Appalachian State).

Its also always at home for the big name teams as well with a few exceptions each year (ex. Pitt away to Utah but Pitt was ranked and needed to prove its a legit Big East team).
