So anyone who booed Santa that day is either old and grey or dead. It was during halftime after whoever was the opposing the team just ran a kickoff back before the half. Also the week prior they had just lost out on a chance on getting OJ Simpson.

What were the dates when Michael Irvin and Austin Collie got cheered/booed off the field for having life threatening injuries?

See Costas could have brought these up, but he was a little lazy in his research.

Also the Michael Irvin thing. Pretty sure they were booing Deion Sanders doing some sort of healing dance around Irvin. Not 100% sure about that though.

I've all ready explained the Collie thing so there's that.
