Yeah, so why is Alex Riley still bringing the briefcase whenever he comes out?

The briefcase is a) A symbol of how The Miz became WWE Champion, and b) a mechanism and convenience the WWE can use to book The Miz to shady victories. It's no longer got a valid contract inside it.

I guess the thing that bothers me is that Edge, RVD, CM Punk, Jack Swagger and Kane didn't carry around the case after they had cashed it in.

Is that really such a big deal, though. I guess it's your opinion, but Kane isn't exactly the sentimental kind. CM Punk and Jack Swagger were all about the World Title at the time, as was even RVD. When The Miz won Money in the Bank, I think he might have shown more raw emotion than anyone else who has ever won. Plus, The Miz loves reminding us of how he has proven us wrong over the years. Keeping the briefcase to remind us (and to use as a weapon) is completely The Miz's thing.
