Even now, the next day, I don't know what to make of it.

Given the movies he's done - and yeah, none were blockbusters but I hadn't heard that any of them lost money - he's probably got enough money that he doesn't need to do much and certainly wouldn't need to throw himself out on the road 300 days per year.

But at the same time, he did imply that it was a long term situation. Maybe its the rare occasion when an athlete does something for the love of the craft rather than money - doubt it - but I guess its possible.
