Better this year since last year, Disturbed headlined over A7X and had a shorter set, plus David couldn't sing that night. Thankfully, A7X headlines this year. Saw Junior Boys, Broken Social Scene, and the guy from Dinosaur Jr at some street fest, it was pretty good. My dad busted out his acoustic guitar at a labor day BBQ, don't know if that counts. Also, Portishead is playing in Toronto so I think i'm going to go to that.

Just saw Girls and Nobunny a couple of days ago, it was really good.

Girls had three African American women backup singers who were great and added a lot.

Nobunny was rlly good, "very good energy."

Lots of people kept climbing on the stage and shit, and obviously lots of super drunk "bros" kept heckling him for telling ppl to get off. Everyone was ridiculously drunk to be fair tho, and it just escalated once he started being an asshole back to the hecklers. Sort of turned into him vs. all of us at that point, and he cut the show short and left.

Then Cut Copy came on and everyone was happy again.

Was gonna see Girls but dunno. Had other shit to do

Yeah Dan did all the crazy crowd stuff including human tunnel which was ridiculous because the venue has a restaurant too so we did the human tunnel around people eating their dinners

There was only maybe 100 people or so at the show so it probably worked better than it would at a larger venue. Easier to control
