To be fair, RTD was too busy deep throating the Doctor and his old enemies to be bothered.

Plus, it couldn't have sat well that Moffat's Angels were more popular than his creations.

But maybe that was a good thing.

On the other hand, it also meant fifteen "last of the Daleks" episodes, as opposed to one (so far, anyway), Cybermen both awesome and silly (Though Moffat did both in one episode), and a Master everyone seemed to hate. But honestly, I think if you're crazy enough to send giant soccer balls with ginsus in them down to eliminate the planet, you're probably crazy enough to do it to Europop.

Speaking of, there's another pointless kill off.

Though not to put all the blame on RTD, I didn't particularly think bring back the Angels ws a good idea. I'm underwhelmed by the "reveal" of who River is, and the whole "Medicap ship stalking humans" thing is eerily similar to the Moffat-penned "The Empty Child/the Doctor Dances." Only, you know, not as good. Sexy Siren was still decent, and proves that Doctor Who can put on a better pirate story than Disney, but STILL.

Anyway, RTD really misused a lot, so I can sorta live with S&M misusing his own creaation. I'm not pleased, but....
