The Rumble's guaranteed title shot hasn't led to a new champion since 2007 (Taker at WM23).

Since then, MITB's guaranteed title shot has led to 7 new champions. (Edge/Punk/Punk/Swagger/Kane/Miz/Del Rio)

8. Edge did it twice as well. 7 Since 2007 - 8 total.
