The true voice of WWE Jerry Lawler is not only The King of Memphis Rasslin', he's The King of Harts, the hearts of many rasslin fans worldwide.
His 90's run I was a child, I saw him as a chubby jobber who was good on the stick. However, little did I know I would never forget his wild antics. From wrestling circles around The Warrior, to hiding under the ring in the '96 Royal Rumble, to nudging the rib of Jake The Snake with a gigantic bottle of champange. What a classy moment that went beyond the surface into the story of a real man and his deamons. He was Mark Henry's debut program as well apart of two classicly booked feuds with The Hitman and Roddy Piper. Funny how it wasn't until Wrestlemania this past year before I started pulling for a Jerry push. He's now the most consistant voice herd on Raw in its history, as well as pulling off good matches when summoned to the ring. We may never see WWE Gold around his waist but he is more than deserving of a DVD telling his life story and featuring his greatest matches. LONG LIVE THE KING LONG LIVE THE KING LONG LIVE THE KING LONG LIVE THE KING LONG LIVE THE KING |
