Take it with a grain of salt since only some can be confirmed but a few new details are rumored to have been leaked.

Day 1 DLC will be just the color edit and costume swap packs.

Capcom is planning at least 5 character DLC packs with 3 confirmed and 2 packs still in discussion. The sizes will be different since some are just unlock keys while others contain the moves not found on the disc. They will also be arriving about once every month at the price of $3 per character or $10 for a set of 4.

1st set: Cody, Guy, Jack X, Alisa
2nd set: Dudley, Elena, Leo, Christie
3rd set: Yun, Yang, Bryan, Lei

No chance at Blanka or R. Mika ever appearing because Capcom has no plans for them to be in the game regardless of fan feedback. No Alex or Karin either because Ono hates those characters.

As for Gems, the pre-order exclusive gems will be available for purchase approximately 1 month after release, and the special edition exclusive gems should be available approximately 2 months after release. They will cost $3 per pack. One new gem pack will be released every month after that, for however long Capcom feels like making more. One more thing. Costumes. Yes, Capcom is going to release lots of costume packs, probably 3 or 4 by the time the game is done being updated. They'll run for about the same price as the first Costume Swap pack.

Capcom also confirmed no Super/Ultimate version of the game because of the backlash from UMvC 3. Instead they are loading up the game with a ton of DLC packs as a way to create their "Super/Ultimate" version.

The Arcade Mode final boss is always Akuma & Orge but the 2nd to last fight mini-boss depends on the characters you selected for a team.

2 Good Tekken Characters: Heihachi x Kuma
2 Evil Tekken Characters: Jin x Xiaoyu.

2 Good Characters from both series: M.Bison x Heihachi
2 Evil Characters from both series: Ryu x Jin
1 Good and 1 Evil character from both series: Ryu x Kazuya (Yes, this is the only situation where Kazuya is a boss.)
