I was initially against the 2nd wild card idea because Day 162 was so incredible, but there can still be scenarios where multiple teams are gunning for that last wild card spot on the final day. I'm sure everybody will shit on it right away though if the 2nd wild card gets to make up a 5 game deficit in one game or something.

I'm interested in seeing how these new rules impact something like the trading deadline. Can't help but feel like we'll see less movement because more teams view themselves as in contention for the 2nd wild card.
