I bet DLVH's fave is the guy who appeared only on the pilot episode.

Anyhow, mine is Picard, since The Next Generation is the only series I really cared about.

Nah, I'm guessing his favorite Captain is Robert April. He only appeared once in Star Trek the Animated Series (non-canon) and in a few other non-canon Star Trek novels. According to those non-canon sources he is the original Captain of the NCC 1701 before Kirk and Pike.
