What he did before in WWE shouldn't matter nor should it count. When he came to WWE, it was a fresh slate and things should be done the WWE way and only the WWE way. I never even heard of the guy. It's not like WCW was still around and he was huge there so he didn't deserve that mega push.

It drew higher ratings than TNA is currently,was promoted on RAW & Smackdown and had featured matches on PPVs including Wrestlemania...so more than a few folk were exposed to it.
