The more I read/hear about Josh Beckett, the less I like him. Where's the fiery pitcher who won a World Series with the Marlins, and who was so good in his early Sox years?

Simple answer is he stopped being devoted to baseball after 2007 or 2008 because that is when the tradition of him arriving at Spring Training with a massive beer gut started. Hasn't had ace status for maybe the last 3 years in favor of Lester.
