It doesn't matter. It's a flag. A flag symbolizing something is fine... when it gets to a point where just the act of it being kicked is a huge issue regardless of the meaning, then it's an issue of being overly PC. There is literally nothing in the history of the country that could put a piece of cloth on a stick, no matter what it symbolizes, in a position to cause an incident like this. Symbolism is fine... putting an object on such a high pedestal like that is ridiculous.
