Yeah. I think the biggest reason they went Kidd instead of Felton is to have someone to mentor Lin.

Apparently Lin and the Rockets agreed to a 3 year/$19.5M offer sheet with a team option worth 9.3M for the 4th year. So the Knicks have 3 days to match after July 11th.

There is no way the Knicks don't match that now. Glad that it didn't get crazier than this though. People were saying teams were gonna offer him close to $40M.
