Murphy is nowhere near as competent defensively as Infante is. Already proven he can't handle the outfield either.

That's pretty much the problem. They've shoehorned him at second base cause it's the only spot that was open, and he's cost them dearly with his glove. If he had regular power he'd have been shipped to an AL team by now.

Haven't.watched enough mets to know what he does defensively, but yah utility.
