I know it does. But it should not. Being on a non-playoff team should not discredit individual play. He's still the best no matter how many games the team wins.

I know, man. It's all these baseball writers, most of who never even played Little League Baseball, yet make up their own rules and criteria as to who should be voted MVP, who should be voted into the HOF, etc.
