There are degrees. I ignored many clan invites during my Halo and CoD days, I rather play with my buds. My brother started a fighting game clan that I will be affiliated with, and I'll play on his stream, but I wouldn't join it. Clans are good for actual leagues and such but pointless for horsing around against randoms. I find Clan matches exciting, though.

Remember that night we played against the actual clan and whipped their asses? Fuckers were raging hard.
