Nintendo doing some "emergency maintenance" and fixes for the Wii U today with most ending by 5pm PST.

According to Crystal Dynamic the reason for no Wii U version of the upcoming Tomb Raider game is because they didn't want to "half-ass" the port and couldn't think of anything unique to use the Gamepad for. PC version won't have anything special either and might be a straight console port.
