I read a different transcript thingo, and it said Bradshaw said that it was not against the law to perform an act like that during entertainment. Like a movie is OK. I have to agree with Bradshaw, what he did was in really bad taste, but he did raise some really good points (about the Nazi thing).

It is my understanding, judging from a friend of mine who spent the majority fo two years as an exchange student in Germany, that it's not against the law to do it during a closed performance like a TV shooting, but if you have a live audience like a sporting event (or sports entertainment event) then it is illegal. I could be wrong either way though.

Germany still censors many imported shows that even have Nazi-esque connotations. Seems weird that they would bar lesser "nazi" notions and make it okay to do the Nazi salute on TV. That's like barring cross burning on TV in the states, because it's a sign of hate, but allowing guys in white sheets to lynch people on TV is okay.

I don't know about that. Considering German citizens are saying otherwise, I'm not tempted to believe Bradshaw here.
