It's one thing to be on the WrestleMania card, but to be on it 20x and to go over 20x is amazing. It's a tribute to Taker's great career to be able to adapt to the times and stay relevant and over (and healthy) for as long as he has. When (or IF) the time is ever right for it to happen, then end the streak. But until then, milk this cash cow and create as many classic Mania matches as possible until Taker wants to hang it up. Ending the streak "just because" would be throwing money out the window. 99.9% of the audience loves it, and loves seeing Taker defend it every year. I don't see a problem..?

How is he adapting to times and staying relevant when he ONLY shows up for a few shows leading up to WM? Saying he's healthy is a joke. Just watching him walk makes me cringe. It looks painful. His match with HHH last year was shit. The match was boring as hell. (All the drama and overacting made it "great." The story -- NOT the match.) Why, you might ask? Because 'Taker, with all due respect, is busted. He needs to stay the fuck out of the ring before he turns into the new Ric Flair or Terry Funk. His last few 'Mania matches with Shawn and Hunter have been because they can carry him. Punk is another one who will carry the Deadman to a match people will love. (You can say Punk doesn't draw, but I think we can all agree he can work.)
As for The Streak... it's BS. A scripted streak in a scripted show. Goldberg, Taker at WM, streaks in Pro Rasslin' don't mean dick. They CAN, however, be used to further the business. By making stars.
Punk should be The One in twenty-and-one.
