Not sure if everyone would get 50 games. Isn't that for failing the league substance drug test? Technically they didn't fail a drug test.

Sounds like MLB is going for a hybrid punishment to ensure everyone gets hit with something. 50 games for the roid penalty (regardless of 1st or 2nd strike) and another 50 for lying.

Someone could pull a "Braun" and weasel out of the roid punishment but still be hit with the lying punishment.
