Could've made alot more guys tonight.

Figured a few people would've started fighting the shield becoming enemy's of the new Corp. Raw next week starts with talks of the 3 (any 3 mid/uppercarders use your imagination) being punished for trying to help Bryan and will face members of the Shield. All 3 get beaten due to underhanded tactics till Bryan comes out cause he's pissed and wants revenge. Overall alliance being made with Bryan leading vs Corp. You can add in new members/people switching/screw jobs and it can go down the line and add in so many people to stories that fucking mean a shit again.

I dunno that's what ran through my head anyways.

After watching RAW tonight, I'm pretty confident with my stance on all of this. They had two opportunities to completely make Bryan in the last 48 hours and squandered them both. Legit lol sometimes at the "Lets just see where this goes, guys." guys. Especially after that meme I saw. We cant just admit that they missed an opportunity here?

After fully watching RAW and Summerslam, I have a better understanding of this whole angle and am not in a blood rage about it really anymore now that I have more context, but I still remain that it would've benefitted everybody much more if Bryan just won. It's going to be very difficult to keep these types of attitude era-esque reactions for Bryan going forever and they should've struck while the iron was hot. Also, the whole premise doesn't really make that much sense. Hunter did this for business but the entire arena goes batshit for Bryan every night, buys all his merchandise, buys tickets to see him, and won't stop chanting his name? In kayfabe terms, they should fucking love this guy and all the cash he's raking in. They would've been better of just saying they didn't like him.

Really worried they won't be able to stretch this out all that long and that Bryan's immense popularity won't be capitalized on properly. Have a hard time thinking he'll ever be as over as he was at Summerslam, especially after RAW where they just completely buried him.

That was always my problem with the Austin/McMahon angle, too. It's no secret that Austin was making shitloads of cash for the WWE. But Vince still hated it.

Well at least with Austin/McMahon it was acknowledged that they didn't like each other and all of the shenanigans played off of that fact. Triple H said that he actually liked Bryan but had to do it for business. From a kayfabe business perspective, they should be worshipping Daniel Bryan right now. Now, I only have a basic understanding of business but it seems like you'd probably endorse a guy that was selling out your arenas and selling merchandise faster than anyone can make it. BUT WHAT DO I KNOW.

But that goes to the same point. Vince tried to fire Austin and have him stopped all the time, but he was undoubtedly the biggest star of the Attitude era. Triple H can say one thing and mean another. He's a heel now.
