I was thinking that last night. In theory, you could set up a private lobby with just you in it and it'd be like your own "proper" GTA game. It has mission, cutscenes and pretty much everything else. The only difference is you'll be a custom character.

I guess that means you could grind away in a private lobby before coming into a public one and started at a higher level.
