The series lost its luster after Clyde Phillips left the show, but it continued to have its moments. The last episode felt cliche-ridden, but a lot of it did make sense and it did lend closure to the character. I like the implication that Dexter will forever be a monster, but did feel that it changed the tone they were going for (back to the one they should have stuck with in the first place) -- Dexter just ditching Harrison with a one-time kill prospect seemed weird and out of character.

I think that the ending should have featured some guy getting back into his room and getting jabbed in the neck by Dexter, instead of him just looking morose in his quarters, but whatever. I'm just happy they didn't all go and live happily in Argentina.
