Rockstar are already warning people it may break http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-24335528

I wouldn't be too shocked if it's unplayable today after dealing with SimCity, Diablo 3 and Final Fantasy XIV. If not, give it a week and it'll be golden.

Bigger problem right now is people are already reporting their game save files becoming corrupted after trying to connect to GTA Online and getting kicked out.
