But they did nothing of the sort. It is a shining beacon of an example in terms of how utterly ridiculous and "entitled" internet wrestling fans are. I mean, by all means be like "fuck, I wish he'd have been in the Rumble". But some of the reactions to this went way beyond. I'd specifically point out the live crowd and the booing but they were pretty much dickheads from the get-go.
Internet wrestling fans. Entitled. Come on.

Anyway, the entire concept of the Royal Rumble is SURPRISE. It is literally a sequence of 30 surprises, the enjoyment from which is derived by the anticipation of the surprise. They didn't explicitly negate him being in it.

Tell us all how wrong we were and how we failed to show enough decorum.

that same crowd that started chanting "boring" 15 seconds into Cena/Orton? That's not expressing a opinion. That's being a fucking idiot.

yes it is. And there were surprises. To take a leaf from your book and use a questionable analogy, it was the equivalent of knowing you were getting a gift, secretly hoping it would be something, the gift turning out to be something else and instead of being a bit disappointed about it but "oh well, I still got something", kicking off, screaming like a schoolgirl and throwing a brick through the persons front window.

I think it's safe to say given the amount of Orton vs Cena matches/feuds we've had over the years, that the majority opinion being expressed was, "This is boring, we've already seen this too many times recently." Just because you disagree with the opinion, or disagree even with the way it was expressed, doesn't make the opinion anymore less valid, especially given that it was the opinion of paying customers.

Are you an opponent of free speech? Again, you may not agree with their opinions, or the way they were expressing their opinions, but that doesn't make it any less valid and shouldn't bar them from expressing their opinions.

Sure, they can be removed from the premises for non-compliance of event staff, or for dangerous or disruptive behavior, but I'm pretty sure Vince doesn't want his PPV audiences to look like a TNA show or have a riot on his hands. Not to mention the bad press reaction the WWE would receive.

That's it! From now on, there will be no talking, cheering, booing or chanting of any kind allowed at a live event! We should all just be grateful for what Vince, HHH and company give us and continue to SILENTLY suck their respective cocks.
