That was a way to turn the situation into a work and write Punk back in. I was so hoping it was going to be Batista doing to Chicago what HBK did to Montreal in 2005 so that Punk would be the one getting in to make it a Triple Threat. It makes sense though to write him in with Paul/Lesnar/Taker because of recent history. Because of that, I'm actually glad that he didn't come back tonight. It fits perfect for him to return in a run-in during the Brock/Taker match.

No way would they have done something like that if an agreement wasn't reached...so you know he will be back soon. Just remember, they were kicking people out of the arenas & tearing up CM Punk signs just a week ago. Yeah, cooler heads prevailed.

exactly, the arena was packed with punk signs, even some colt related signs, and on air mentioning of him, they tried to keep it subtle tho with just mentioning him a little bt, just wondering and really curious on the direction they are going with punk
