Heath Slater is the one "current roster" guy I'm fussed about. Regardless of when the cutoff was, he's been on TV seemingly every week since like 2012. His exclusion leads me to believe that 3MB wouldn't have made the cut even if they were still around, which is shocking considering some of the guys that did make it.
I'll be very bummed if there's no Rusev, Bo Dallas, etc. in the main game as well (not counting DLC). I would have pegged those guys for DLC initially but 2K outwardly stating that they had a later cutoff this year led me to think people who debuted soon after WM would make it in. The other current guys are no great loss. I love Christian but he's practically retired it seems. Zack Ryder and Sin Cara have done nothing. I would have liked Los Matadores to beef up the tag division but realistically I don't know how much I would have used them. Booker T, Ric Flair, and Kevin Nash were on the WWE.com list but not on the WWE 2K15 website, so I'm assuming there is going to be a proper legends reveal later. Vince will be in, he always is. Edge getting in wouldn't shock me either, he's one of only about 4 people left to be in every game so far. Oh and there is going to be a retro version of Triple H, his render was already shown. I've never liked Legends being in these games and have said I could happily do without them, but at this point I've accepted that it's never going to happen. |

I've never really played as the Legends in past games, but when I do, I always face other Legends. I really don't care about them as I've never really wanted to play a match and see Yokozuna vs Jack Swagger or Jimmy Snuka vs Brock Lesnar or whatever. They just seem pretty pointless to me and their slots could have went to the guys who are actually on the active roster. Another thing I've never liked, but what I probably dislike more than Legends, is older versions of a wrestler getting their own slot. It's slowly grown and grown to a point now where it's "normal" to have a massive chunk of the games roster, be filled with older versions of wrestlers. HCTP: Undertaker & Old School Undertaker SvR: Kane & Masked Kane - Undertaker & Old School Undertaker SvR06: Hogan 80's & Hollywood Hogan & Hulk Hogan SvR07: Mick Foley & Cactus Jack & Dude Love & Mankind WWE '12: Christian & Christian (Retro) - Edge & Edge (Retro) - Kane & Kane (Retro) WWE '13: Big Show & Paul Wight - Bradshaw & JBL - Cactus Jack & Dude Love & Mankind - Chris Jericho & Chris Jericho '99 - Christian & Christian '99 - Edge & Edge '99 - Hunter Hearst Helmsley & Triple H & Triple H '99 - John Cena & John Cena '04 - Kane & Kane '97-'99 - Lita & Lita '00 - Mark Henry & Mark Henry '98 - The Rock & The Rock '98-'99 - Undertaker & Undertaker '97-'98 2K14: Big Show & Big Show (Retro) & The Giant - Brock Lesnar & Brock Lesnar (Retro) - Chris Jericho & Chris Jericho (Retro) - Hollywood Hulk Hogan & Hulk Hogan - John Cena & John Cena (Retro) - Kane & Kane (Retro) - Kevin Nash & Kevin Nash (nWo) - Macho Man (nWo) & Macho Man Randy Savage - Ric Flair & Ric Flair (Retro) - Scott Hall & Scott Hall (nWo) - Shawn Michaels & Shawn Michaels (Retro) - The Rock & The Rock (Retro) - Triple H & Triple H (Retro) - Undertaker & Undertaker (ABA) & Undertaker (Retro) I can see why there were so many for WWE '13, as it was based around The Attitude Era. But with so many doubles, alongside guys like Val Venis, X-Pac, Too Cool and so on, why didn't THQ just make a game based solely on The Attitude Era, with no current guys on the roster? Sort of like a "WWF Attitude 2" or "WWF No Mercy 2", so to speak. That probably would have sold quite well, and they could have also released WWE '13 that would feature the current guys. As for 2K14, a game which I've barely touched, I just want to point out that the entire roster (including DLC), consists of more "old" wrestlers, than current wrestlers. To me, that's pretty bad. I just don't get their infatuation with including former talent in the latest games, when we could finally have a game that features every single person that's on the current roster and some from NXT.
