No, there should be no NXT guy coming in and beating Rusev. It needs to be someone on the rise and has the ability to make people believe he can actually beat Rusev. Maybe Ambrose in a couple months.

It genuinely doesn't matter, does it? Whether it's an NXT debutant, or a "star in the rise" that beats Rusev (or Cena), they won't maintain the character beyond a few weeks, and they'll be back to losing in the midcard shuffle before we know it.

By having some scrub no one has heard of beating Rusev clean will hurt him. Having him lose to someone like Ambrose that (in theory) has been on the rise for 2 months before their match would make sense. Lets not turn Rusev into a jobber.
