Pretty pumped for next season now because most of the stuff that happens now will be past the books and all "surprises to me"....

Is the show already caught up with the books? I know this season used some stuff from the latest book or something... can someone explain for me "once and for all"

There's still a few things from the books not covered, but I feel like if they were gonna do it, it woulda been done already. Also some stuff completely different than the books, but I think pretty much all the main characters are caught up with where they leave off in the last book.

I think he gave them a basic outline, but the showrunners have said they might not follow it exactly.... Which is no surprise because they haven't been following the books exactly.... the major plot points and "ending" will prob be the same as the upcoming books, though.
