Yeah it just seemed that way though cos no one before that night were saying Benoit shouldn't be champ, and then all of a sudden i only ever saw people bitching about Benoit being champ, the ones who wanted him to be champ just went quiet it seemed, maybe that's just my short-term memory, i dunno.

Ton of people were bitching because they suddenly saw someone they didn't like as champ. Fair enough.

I dunno. I defended Benoit multiple times. I didn't keep track of how many people defended him post-championship victory tho. You might be right.

Not everyone will be happy all the time.
