If you do, thats fine. But I think its pretty evident Darren does well for the company outside of wrestling in the ring and has his place, especially in this era. But if you disagree, thats totally cool bud

I was speaking merely in terms of in-ring. Maybe he does supplementary stuff outside of it, but that is something I can imagine anyone doing. Does a gay Superstar need to do the anti-gay stuff? I'll be honest, I wasn't even aware Darren Young did much stuff. The guy can't string two sentences together for a promo, so the idea of him being a good spokesperson is weird. Maybe he is better without the pressure of the wrestling atmosphere?

It still seems silly to me that people get to keep or get jobs based on PR reasons. I understand, for example, hiring a great Hispanic wrestler because he's good at wrestling and will appeal to the Hispanic crowd; but Darren Young is not that good at wrestling. Hire a better black gay wrestler.

I did enjoy his Bob Backlund thing though. Maybe there's hope? It's very rare I am so down on a wrestler, but after six years of basically looking like a black John Cena but somehow being nothing, it feels like they could cut bait. Especially now.

Am I making sense? I just don't see the reason for keeping around guys because they are good at appearances ONLY. You have to have something relevant to the product.
