C'mon guys, we all know what needs to happen here...ditch Lawler, have a 4-week temp guy, then on the first LIVE SD! of Brand Extension 2.0: This Time It's PERSONAL!, have Cole and Mauro at the announce desk on opposite sides with a vacant middle, 3rd seat. Austin comes out to a huge pop, says usually he's at home watching the shows, but noticed there's only two announcers on SD! when there should be 3, so he talked to his nemesis, Vince McMahon earlier in the day and he and McMahon agreed (albeit reluctantly on McMahon's part) that only one man is right for the job (long, dramatic pause, long view of arena, centered on the tron as the commentators wonder who their new broadcast partner will be, and finally):
