It isn't like they haven't tried to move him. He's cleared waivers twice and they've been shoping him since Hasek said he wanted to come back.

Fact is that he has a huge contract that no one wants to take on because many teams are in a bad financial state. Detroit would also rather have him sit on the bench than trade him to a rival.
