The problem is it isnt the last move of the match that should beat you, but every move leading to that point. These "finishers" imo should be kicked out of and often. They should win matches, and often. Because it's just a piece of their arsenal. Clearly I prefer Japanese wrestling but having "signiture moves" makes more sense from a psychology stand point AND a drama stand point. Truely not knowing if this one will do it is better.


*note: I understand that american fans demand the finisher logic and thus we should play by the law of the land. This is just a general conversation about the conept not it's usage.
I'm used to the finisher system by now, but I do agree that it is a bit silly, if not entirely.

I especially hate when people have signature moves that look far more devastating than their finishers. John Cena springs to mind.
