Also looking at Angles pic reminded me that Jericho was the first Unified world champ, Giving it some thought he seemed an odd choice to unify those belts given that he was still not really seen as top tier to the company then the fact that he beat Austin and The Rock, was the WWE just trying to give him the push he should have had when he arrived?

They were definitely tying to make him a top guy it just didnt stick...at all. Well before the steph/H angle
