Im not sure whether I should get his on Wii U or buy a Switch...

Wish Switch played Wii U games so I could sell my Wii U.

Personally, getting the Switch day 1. A better version of the game and it's portable.

Januarys event should hopefully make the decision easier when they fully confirm what's hitting the Switch year 1 so you can see if the whole system is worth it or not.
