I think Raven has a better character and has his own sort of presence about him. I think i enjoyed their ECW work an equal amount.

For me, the difference comes from their success in the big two companies. Taz started hot before being completely jobbed out and ridiculed.

Raven was a very respectable mid carder in WCW and not only had some good matches, but a really interesting stable in The Flock and managed to become US Champ.

I also really enjoyed his 2-3 years in WWE with his Hardcore run. He was a key figure in a fun division and I think he brought more to the table than Tazz did in his WWE run.

Raven produced better TV in his runs in the top promotions while seriously rivalling Taz's massive contribution to ECW.

That, and his overall promo work and story-telling push him ahead of Taz for me.
